  2. Hi Lee, hello from across the pond in England! I’m very interested to learn more about this midi system for bass.

    1. Hello Marty, your message came in via our website Comment board rather than via our email page (which notifies my immediately) so this may be a delayed reply. If so, my apologies. If you’d send specific questions to our home address, innprocess@comcast.net, i’ll get back to you very quickly. Are you interested in a new bass with FretTraX or a retrofit of an existing bass or ??? Thank you for your interest! Best regards, Lee Young, InnProcess Music

  3. May i ask for a synopsis on how your system works? and how many strings is possible for the system to accomodate?

    1. Hi Martin,
We have built FretTraX for guitars – but only for special applications. Check out Christian playing my Codella FretTraX guitar at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDUhFjw9SIw
FretTraX uses left hand touches of strings to frets to trigger MIDI. That makes it amazingly fast and accurate. But at this point, we don’t offer ‘pluck detect’ as a feature so there are no right hand MIDI triggers. Thus my ‘Special applications’ comment. Hopefully your post will be forwarded to my email and I can give you more details if you have further interest. Thank you for getting in touch!

  4. I’ve got Fodera Monarch 4 string bass identical to the one you did for V.W. what is the cost to do the same to mine?

    1. Hi Mario,
Your post didn’t make it to my inbox right away so, sorry for the delay. However, we aren’t doing retrofits at this time but rather focusing the FretTraX technology in standard products. But, I appeciate your interest! Best regards, Lee Young InnProcess Technology

      1. Hey is there anyway I can send over my Gibson SG or Stratocaster to have you guys retrofit it? How much would this cost I am Highly interested. If not are you guys making any six string guitar models with this technology at the moment?

        1. Hello – I wish I had heard from you earlier. At this point, I’ve sold the FretTraX patent rights to a musical instrument company for use in ‘standard products’. Therefore, we aren’t doing retrofits or custom builds at this time. I’ll post info on alternatives when available. Thanks for getting in touch! Best regards, Lee
